2nd September 2007
Dear Councillor Bantoft YOUR RECENT LETTERS Thank you for your recent letters in response to my earlier communications. You have very skilfully avoided giving substantive answers to our key questions but quite honestly this came as no surprise to us. We do however note your comment that “the cowardly criminals are 100% responsible for their actions”. Hopefully after such a statement from a pillar of our community, we at FLAT will never again be accused of being in any way responsible for these acts of vandalism, either directly or via incitement! By now you should be aware that we always ensure that our campaign is run in a professional and open way and as such we make it a policy to invite “guests” to our meeting. Councillor Markinson and Woollner have already accepted our offer and we have also written to Councillor Barry Ayres. The Committee believe that it would also be appropriate to invite the Chairman of the Parish Council and I am therefore writing to you to extend an invitation to attend the FLAT Committee meeting on the 23rd of September at 7:30 at The Old Vicarage, Church Bank, Marshland St James. Perhaps you could let me know in advance of the meeting (say 10 days) if you will be able to attend and if you wish to add anything to our agenda. Yours sincerely
