Offshore Wind Turbines

On just returning from a short break to Skegness, I thought I must avail all users that I saw nearly 50 offshore wind turbines there and in the 4 days I was there, they did not move an inch despite a fair amount of wind. How efficient is that!!!!

F.L.A.T. recipes for sharing.

After visiting the coffee morning and seeing how lovely all those scruptious cakes looked (No I didn't try them all). I thought it would be a good idea to share our favourite recipes. I for one would love a good green tomato chutney recipe. So come on all you clever cooks send your favourites to me Sandy c/o ronald.samways@virgin.net and I will get them printed out and we will sell them at the tea party. Making a bit more dough for a worthwhile project so close to all our hearts. It may be an advantage to say how difficult it is to make on a scale of 1-5. 1 being very easy.

Magic tree versus windturbines

We are a small company in Latvia, this year we started to produce natural looking trees and plants from recycled materials, these trees and plants have leaves that convert free natural available energy like SUN, WIND & THERMAL into electricity.
This is a huge breakthrough in the fight against Wind turbines and huge ugly solar arrays across the country.
Our trees and plants are perfectly in harmony with nature, not disturbing our landscape or downgrading our property.
Besides that they will delivery three times more energy than any known other available system.
So please join us, in sending your feedback about our trees and plants. You can have a free presentation by reply to solarbotanic@apollo.lv

thanks

bird scarers

Question for those who deny that Turbines deter wildlife: If they do not, why are all the bird scarers that we see in all the fields round here either little windmills or spheres that rotate and flicker?

Public funds

Another little bird has whispered in my ear that the topsecret meeting held by the consortium last week and only attended by the privileged few who had private invitations was actually policed by our local worthies at the taxpayers' expense because of "threats and intimidation". If this meeting was so top secret how could anyone have known about it in order to make such threats unless the info was deliberately leaked to cause yet more problems for the Parish and to give the consortium yet another reason to use the newspapers as a publicity tool. They also had their own "security " it appears so why should we have to pay for the police to attend and what a waste of resources!
